"As an ovarian cancer survivor and the current President of the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance (GOCA) Board of Directors, I wanted to share with you the profound impact that GOCA's educational programs have had on my journey.Through firsthand experience, I've come to deeply appreciate the invaluable support provided by GOCA's educational initiatives. These programs are instrumental in our mission to raise awareness and promote early detection of ovarian cancer. In fact, it was through GOCA's resources that I was empowered to pursue early diagnosis, which ultimately led to my successful treatment and survival for the past 18 years. In my role as President, I am wholeheartedly committed to ensuring that every woman facing this disease has access to the support and resources necessary to not only survive but to thrive. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by ovarian cancer."
